    Default Eagles

One of my favorite things to do is look for eagles. Over the past 20 years my wife and I have found numerous nests and roosting spots. They are not the easiest things to find much less get a picture. They are a awesome sight in nature. some of the pics are from the past.

Nice pics billy, years ago in northwest ark got to see over 50 mature bald eagles and about a dozen that hadn't reached that 5 years that it takes for them to get the white head, over sixty at one time and they were flying around and screaming everywhere , very cool to witness , wish I'd have had a video camera

I have taken pictures of a few here on Greers but it is always with my cell phone so they are not very good. The most I've seen at one time was 5.

There are about a half of dozen nesting at Brewer lake on the North side of the dam. They are such a beautiful creature.

several years ago some backwater froze on the illinois river that was so shallow the fish were sticking out through the ice and the eagles were sitting on it eating them, we had tohave had at least 300 plus eagles staying in the area that year,

Looks like you have been to Mallard Lake Billy. We have a nesting pair on our hunting property down south. They are beautiful birds, but when we are duck hunting we have to go pick our ducks up pretty quick or the eagles get an easy breakfast!
