Need help lowrance elite 5 dsi

Got a great deal on elite 5 dsi, i think.

Lowrance discontinued the elite 5 dsi and i got it at a great price from academy sports. Did they have problems with it or just discontinuing for the generation 2 series.

Has anybody had any problems with this unit.

What do yall think, your input is appreciated.

Whacker ... they probably d/c'd it in favor of the HDI series, which has the 2d system along with the GPS & DSI systems. The Elite 5 DSI/Chartplotter unit does not have a 2d sonar system.

I've had mine on my TM since they were first introduced & not a single problem or complaint. Great imaging and GPS refresh rate is excellent for a small unit/CPU. You're gonna be pleased.
