CG1 "Dances with fish"
Thanks CG1..................
Congrats to all "Florida Slabfest Group"
Jeff & Dawn Brown -
Sam Adams & Russell Cheetham
Brian Wood & Ray Hargis
There were some of the best of the best crappie fishermen they were in competion
with Saturday................
Biggest performance factor involved the weather (wind was brutal) and smaller
boats were at disadvantage competing in 4' plus high waves after 10 am in upper
half of lake - plus when wind changed to the South comming North barometric
pressure dropped like a rock almost straight down and it started to light rain..........
If you hadn't caught your tournament fish by 10:17am - things were going to get
ugly as the "bite" also dropped.
Friday on pre-fish, 1 team came in with 12 lbs 15.5 oz with 4 fish over 2 lbs.
2 lbs. 7.5 oz was big fish on friday, when fileted it had 4 1/2" shimp in stomach.
Talk about fish going on feeding benge
Pictures at top are some 2 pounder plus's caught Friday and sure have
happy group around the fish filet table, all talking the ones that got away. ????
Looks like a good turnout, and great memories...
Looks like a good time was had by all even with crazy weather. Congrats to all those who participated and to the winners too.
