    I recommend radial trailer tires with the highest weight rateing or load range that you can find.

    Need to check for fender clearance when springs are compressed Rich. Some fenders fit so close that they will rub when you hit a bump. Don't know how much there is in height difference if any. If it was me and they would fit I would go to a 13 radial like G said with heaviest rating you can get.

    Just did that exact thing the 4.80 is 16" tall and the 5.30 is 17.5" tall, the 5.30 is about 1/2 inch wider. So if you have an extra 3/4 inch of space you can do it.
