Default anyone using a talon/power pole on a tiller?

Got a 1546 Lowe welded with jet ordered and I'm wanting some power poles or talons but I'm afraid they will be in the way. If I do, I'm looking more to maybe the 6ft model. There's a few places I have to worry about overhead clearance.

I saw the other day minnkota has a fold down bracket for the talon. I have 8' power pole and wish I had 10' . my next boat will have 2- 12' talons

May be an idea then if quick to fold, but that still leaves the question of will it be in the way. and usually i will be fishing in the back if someone is with me.

Knowing what style of fishing you do the most may help with ideas .
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Well I do *alot* of casting for muskie, and then a variety of styles for crappie/panfish/trout, with a little trolling mixed in.

You can always deploy the power pole just a little and get it out of your way. The talon folds into the boat I think.
