    Default colt 1911 us army


    I know this isn't about fishing, just looking for bit of advice.... a friend of mine has a colt 1911 us army, stamped apt 20 1897, Sept 1902, Dec 1905, Feb 14 1911. With pearl grips....I looked on gun broker and the same gun without pearl grips and basically rusted out so bad they are asking 6000 dollars for it..... so my question is what do you all think it could be worth....this one my buddy has never been fired also no rust

    The grips are rusting out allowing the pearl to detach its self? Barrel looks good? Rust is a no no on a gun. It challenges its capability to withhold pressure. Sweet gun
