    Default Cold blast coming.... brrrr

Here in north Texas we have a saying, "if you don't like the weather, wait around a few days".
Looks like we will drop about 55 degrees in the next few days. Yikes.

Seems like a good time to just hang at the house, build a big fire, organize tackle and watch football and fishing shows.
Enjoy your weekend, whatever it brings!

Yes it's on the way, just glad I am a bit farther South and should be ice free here, I hope! Only trouble is we were suppose to go to Mansfield for the Baby Shower for my daughter-in-law as she is having twins after the first of the year, but I am not driving my wife up to near Dallas in that weather. They are to have a bunch of freezing rain which I don't need any of that horrible stuff!

I'm down in Austin, gonna try and catch a few this weekend, luckily I'll be in an indoor crappie house! Assuming I can drive to the lake and there's no ice on the roads, gonna be a slow day day I'm betting though.

good luck out there! Wear a life jacket!
The high temperature today and tomorrow drops 40 degrees... It may seem like a good idea today...

I think we have "bi-polar" weather...
I used to have a girlfriend like that once, Hot one day, cold the next. LOL

They are predicting 1/2 to 1" of ice here Thursday night and Friday. Most of us remember the ice storm of 2009 that left many without power for up to a month. I run 7 freezers in my taxidermy studio so I've been prepping my generator and getting ready should it happen again. Fishing will probably be the last thing on our minds.

Good luck to those who will be affected. Stores are already being stripped clean of milk, bread, eggs, etc.
