My local Academy store had the 4lb line on clearance for $3.98. I bought three spools and can't wait to give it a try.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I tried this line over the weekend and boy does it cast. I could get another 10' at least on each cast.

Wow that was a good buy... I'd like to buy it just haven't yet
Ive been running it on a couple of my rods for a little over a year. It casts a mile and then some. It's super sensitive too, so much so that it took me a little while to get used to it.
Ive heard good things about it but Im not sure really. I am partial to my little braid.
Been using 4# since it came out. Love it. There is a learning curve with it but it's time well spent.
Read the knot packet that comes with it. Most knots will undo themselves because the line is so slick.
I tried it for a couple days on the water.
I liked the smoothness and sensitive part.....but I thought it broke pretty easy compaired to mono
I switched back to mono on a couple rods.....and then tried suffix 832 braid.
I really the suffix. Its smooth for casting, very limp...and pretty strong. Its 6lb though,
Been using it for past 2 years and will continue. Its abrasion resistance is low and visability high so use a flourocarbon leader on the business end. Sensitivity and casting distance far outweigh these shortcomings. I tie to a small barrel swivel and tie leader and jig to that. Makes changing jigs quicker and easier to tie. That nanofil knot is really fun to tie with weak eyes and a stiff wind.
I DO MY BEST PROOFREADING RIGHT AFTER I HIT THE "SUBMIT" BUTON
