anyone run them,how long of a chain do u run between the anchor and the main line,thanks

I don't think you can run any chain, that is unless you want to stop the motor at the chain and pull the rest up by hand, then store the anchor in the boat.

I had two on my last boat and tied the anchor directly to main line. Never had a problem.

Very short , mine came from MinnKOta with about 6-8 inches

Mine have about 8 inches of chain. When your anchor is pulled up tight to the Deckhand, measure how far it is from the anchor to just to the spool. You don't want the chain wrapping around the spool.
