    Hey, I really like the idea you got there on your poles turned over with bait
    casters and clamps for holders. :D
    I might do mine that way if you won't beat me up for useing your idea.

    The main reason I like it, is because I can see the eyes better. So when a lite bite occurs it a little easier to see.

    The little bait casters........ The red ones are Uncle Bucks $12 (they hold up a lot better than any other brand.) some of them going on three years.

    The black ones are Hi Tech. $9 but the are going down left and right. They strip out. one season is all you will get or a big catfish.

    PM me and I will send you some close up picks. I tried several ways on mounting the transducer. but what seems to be to my preference is a 1/2 conduit formed to curve over the front of my boat and down a foot into the water, and it is attached with three conduit straps on the front and it pull out for easy storage and if you hit something it will swing out of the way without any damage.
