Crappie Tube Colors

What are some of you guys' favorite colors? I grew up on the red body with chartreuse tail and still use it to this day. Kind of sentimental I guess.

My favorite colors are metal flake purple / chartruse. I fish it most of the time and folks here on Nimrod Lake are calling the Southern Pro Umbrella Tubes the Nimrod Special .

Various blues or greens with chartreuse tails have been my go to colors for the last several decades, at least for the plastic bodies I used. Most notably, the BPS Sparkle Squirt hollow body tube in Electric Blue/Chartreuse & the CrappiePro solid body tube in Green/chartreuse were my favorites in the past. Nowadays, I'm partial to a minnow shaped custom pour plastic body in a semi-transparent blue body with chartreuse tail.

Same here! I've tried every tube in the world, and every soft plastic crappie lure on the internet, but my most productive is a Gulp Alive 1" minnow in Smelt or Watermelon Pearl.

I'm also a fly tier, so I have one million marabou and feather jigs that I use sometimes? I think Gulp even out-fishes live minnows!
