    Default Slabs in November

It was bone chilling cold on the lake today, and despite the moon phase, cold front and every other negative against me......
    I still managed a 1lb 12oz pig and a 1lb 10oz'er!

Also managed to fineness this other little fellow in....

Some of my most fun fishing is time of year & weather. As long as the boat ramps didn't freeze up used to fish all the time. This is time of year to start carrying a 5 gallon bucket of sand with it truck.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

Don't seem so cold when you are having that kind of fun. Nice fish man. Thanks for sharing.
Keep them poles bent and the boat right side up! LOL

Great catch! Isn't it well worth wrapping up and fishing in the cold? This time of the year most lake levels are down and are just beautiful. Nature just has a certain peacefulness about it in the Fall and you pretty much have the lakes to yourself.

Thank you! Hope to get a couple more weekends in before I put the boat to bed for the winter.
You're right about the lakes being great in the fall. I absolutely love this time of year
