Is anyone aware of a source for Stanley Wedgetail Crappie Minnows? I found one source, but they only have the 2" size and I want the 1".

They look like this, Seeker :
But ... I don't see them advertised on the Stanley website, nor do I see anyone else offering anything but the 2" version.
They're supposed to be fairly thin at the body/tail junction, and the tail flutters on the fall.
I wonder if the DIY plastics guys have a similar product ??

I have read several articles where they swear by these as being deadly on crappie. They recommend the 1" size though. The guys using them say their effectiveness is in the action.
Have you tried grizzly jig company?
Hawker ... you might want to contact Stanley & see if they can direct you to where they're available for purchase, if anywhere.
But, I'd have to ask why only the 1" interests you ?? Especially when 1.5" - 2" baits (even live minnows) seem to be the normal average sizes used !!
I just got back from the Crappie.com Fall Brawl @ Green River Lake, Ky .... and the Crappie I cleaned, that had Shad in them, had Shad larger than 2" in their stomachs !! (and a lot of them were 9.5-11" fish) We got bites on the biggest minnows we had (2"+) a lot faster than on the smaller ones, and a lot less dinks were caught on the bigger minnows, too.

cp,
That's a good idea. I'll see if I can get hold of them.
I have never used these jigs, but in the articles I read they all recommended using the 1" size. What you say makes sense, though and I've already ordered the 2 inchers, so I guess I'll find out if they will get the job done.
here in Texas they have them at Academy. you may can get on line
