hang in there. the fish are moving a lot right now. you will find them eventually when they settle into a late fall/winter pattern and become more predictable. today was a difficult day to be out there anyway. it's always tough on wheeler when the wind is out of the east like it was today. the fishing will get a lot better here in the next couple weekends. what creek were you fishing?

    Thumbs up

don't get disgusted. today was one of those days. i went to work on putting out mats and decided to try'em for a while. water temp was 67 degrees. i managed to catch two keepers about 13 feet down over an old mat. figure that one. they should have been in about 8 feet of water. hung a big flathead around some rip-rap that got my blood pressure up for a while, but i didn't have enough line on my reel for him. ran out of line and he broke off. the water needs to cool some more. some rain would help. lol
