I have been using the Diawa Goldcast III reels for years. The smaller one (80), is my favorite for the small jigs.

They have been trouble free for me.
Looking for a good small sized spincast reel. Any suggestions? Thanks. CF

Shimano or Browning you can't really go wrong.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
Shimano 2000 series spinning reels are the best in my opinion. I have 3 of them. One, my syncopate, is about 10 years old and still as good and tight as the day I bought it. I do grease them up once a year to keep the brass gears from wearing but other than that they are virtually maintenance-free.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day working anytime. So says the Perchmaster!!!
