were you fishing Guntersville this time and yes the water temp dropped 10 degrees just this past week. I had 71 a week ago and 60 degrees this weekend.
I read crappie.com Alabama board quite often but rarely ever post. I don't get to fish many times a year but when I do thanks to you guys this is a pretty average catch for me. I usually fish a state owned lake here close to home and rarely ever make it out to the big g. small boat I stay on small water. if I do go usually stay around town creek bridge or in back of creek. I used to not catch any crappie so the 10 to 15 I catch now are a great treat. I know you guys don't need any advice but just to report on my trip water temp was 60 to 62 fish in 20-25 fow suspending at about 7 to 8 feet. trolling 16oz. jigs with lake fork jigs blue and black was best. again I just want to say a very big thank you for helping this novice find out how to troll and really increase my enjoyment of the few times a year that I get to get out.
