Wow...I'm sorry for you and you will be in our prayers. Would it be okay with you to put his name on the prayer list at church?
Well over this last weekend he was discharged from BAMC with no antibiotics to take, but that it because they want to do a bone biopsy in a week to 10 days. So he is back at home and is selling his house in Tampa to move back to the Dallas area soon, but will go back to San Antonio for the bone biopsy to determine what kind of bug that is. He also has to choose to either keep taking antibiotics for life or have his leg cut off again above the knee which he really doesn't want to do, but may need to. You should have seen his stump and why he wen to the ER in the middle of the night and not the next morning as he intended. I will only say it was really bad and never before had goo come pouring out from his skin, not even just the hole in the end of his stump, but the pores around it as well very nasty thing.
Thank you all for your prayers and please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a bit longer.

"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 25:15
Sure his name is Randy. Back when it first happened and probably for a year they didn't want us talking about it and for sure not giving out his name. Heck they didn't even have his name on his door in ICU. However that was back in Dec 2006 and 2007 and it was for his and our protection. SF guys just get that kind of attention when injured and the severer stuff was back then and by the time he went to work at SOCOM he and they knew he was not going to be able to return to his unit and he retired last Nov. so he hung in there from 2006 until last year. They still take care of him though and I just hope he makes the best decision for him.
Thank you!
continued prayers for Randy, hang tuff yall

I probably should mention next Monday we get to go to near Dallas to see my future grand kids. My youngest son's wife is PG and it's grand parents day to see the sonogram in person. She has sent us videos all along, but now we get to see it as they do it. So things happening on both sides, good and bad.
Wow, sure hate to hear that, my how the rest of us take our health for granted till we look around us, were so blessed. Our prayers go out to him for sure.
