I was wondering if anyone is fishing the creeks yet on the Ohio River for crappie? If so, can you give up some current patterns, depth, etc.
Thanks,
Bassky

WE NEED MORE COWBELL
They should start turning on now with the temps in the 60's. The problem now is that we have had alot of rain 2 weeks ago and then again all day yesterday and today. I am going to try to get out next week if the creeks are clearing up. i am going to plant some cover in a couple of creeks and then fish some. I will give a report if I have anything worth reporting.

Slow on Saturday Fishin' North of Smithland.
Had to tickle the brush with the jig to get any bites. Shallow 2 - 4 ft. Early and then moved out deeper after sun comes up. Caught a total of nine....only three were over 11".
Chartruese was working best.

Standing in the Gap
There's a big rise coming down the OHIO. That should move them up in the creeks.
