Trying to get a handle on crappie fishing from the yaks has been a real challenge - decided to try something a little closer to home. These are redfish that we caught Tuesday night in Pensacola Bay(FL) We ended up with 3 over 35" and only one in the slot at 26" We eagerly consumed him last night! All were caught using live 12" white trout that we caught on gulp shrimp on a jig head. We lost at least 6 others and one completely spooled my spinning rod breaking the line at the knot! Good times with my son
