Fished below Gville dam and fished spots all the way down river to the Flint River. Took a friend of mine who had never been before and put him on at a couple crappie. The bluegill were all over the place, some were monsters and I probably should have cleaned them! Ended up catching 15 keepers and kept the 7 biggest (all 10-12 inches). We just fished Bobby Garlands in a variety of colors (blue thunder and emerald shad worked best). They were all caught in 10-15 FOW suspended anywhere from 4-8ft. They arent quite "stacked up" in my spots yet, we would catch 2-3 and have to move on, but it was a great time! The main river water temp was still 70.5 in the main river and down to 68.5 a mile back in the flint/paintrock. We mainly focused on current breaks but managed to grab a few keepers in treetops.
thanks for the report! I'm itchin to go so enjoy reading posts until I get to go.
