    Default Giveaway to beginner

I posted about digging out a bunch of reels in my garage. I have a handfull, probably 4-5 ultralight reels I bought a couple of years ago at Grizzly and didn't give hardly anything for. The drag is not up to what I wanted for longlining so they have been collecting dust in a box.

I would like to give them to a beginner here who is wanting to get started spider rigging or longlining either themselves or with kids/grandkids. I will send them to you at no cost but would like to hear back from you if you catch some fish on them. I know several folks who use these reels but the drag is not real smooth. They will be much better suited for spider rigging. They will need new line but some of them have not been on rods.

Somebody who is interested can PM me with contact info. I'll notify the person who I will be sending them to.

I got 2 replies from folks who didn't want all the reels, just a couple. I will be sending them the reels.

    Thanks.

Nice Doug. We need to help our fellow fisherman!! We are all passionate about our fishing and freely giving is the ultimate expression of how we feel about our sport. The kids coming up today really need our help. They do not get out like we use to. Kind of sad! Doug, you are a good friend and a great sportsman! Thanks for sharing your passion!!

How about a snorkel and a map of where I left them? I'm sure some KY Lake ledges look like a Christmas tree.

Great Idea , we could make a fortune. The only problem I see with this venture is one of us will have to look at the other in a wetsuit.
