I still see them in some of the bait shops around here. They aren't tied as well as they used to be, in my opinion.
Does anybody know where I can find Slater Crappie Jigs ?? Does anybody know if there is a commercial company that sells them ..like
Bass Pro Shop ?? Does anybody know of any place in Texas that sells them ??

I used to buy Slater jigs from Grizzly Jig Co., but have not bought any several years, didn't last too long. They were still in their 2013 catalog. I now prefer to buy my jigs from skiptomylu on this site, they really hold up great, much better construction.

Prop's to Skip, he is a friend and he ties awesome jigs.(thumpit jigs)I use them at Toledo Bend and they catch fish. You can also try ScottV on the Miss. forum. His jigs are Southern Sickle Jigs and they are great. Just started using them and they also fish great.Very much in tune to tie just what you want. I haven't tried DonG's are Pepop's but their reputation on this sight is also impeccable. I bought some over the counter jigs before I hooked up with these 2 guys. No reason to go that route anymore.
