Default Anyone Using Power Poles or Talons???

Wondering about them, pro and cons of each from the folks that have them. I see a real advantage to having one when unloading and loading the boat, let it down to hold the boat from blowing around and getting on the ramp. will they hold on the ramp or does it need to get into the mud????

needs to be in the mud to hold, I sell them both, power pole is the leader BY FAR right now. Have had several talons come back broken...never broken a power pole and have sold 10 times as many, maybe 20. The power pole is one of those things like a smart phone, you don't think you need it, till you get it...then you wonder how the heck you ever lived without it.

Thanks for the response Kman, guess I will leave em alone and keep pulling my boat up hard on the Keel Guard. A lot of time here at the ramps we have 2 choices, concrete ramp or huge rip raf rocks and I choose the concrete.

I looked at Talons but when I discovered they only work for shallow water I lost interest in them. I fish the year around and spend more time in deeper water than shallow water.

So they are not worth that much money in my mind since I can't use them the year around.
