Default wide Enough for Double Seat?

My bass boat front deck is 48" wide where my pedestal hole is. Is this wide enough for a double seat or am I too narrow? Thanks for opinions.CF

Plenty wide, I moved mine double sets back to my storage lids and it works very well. Some frown on this but figured I paid for it I would be comfortable.

I have been wondering this same thing. I run a ranger 175vs an wasnt sure if it was possible or not. I not positive on dimensions. Couple weeks back I had found some fish on a pile I was in the front an the back of the boat was up the creek kept having to swing it back around for my cousin to catch one. Very aggravating

I saw a couple of guys fishing the Crappie Masters sitting on the front of a G3 tin boar in lawn chairs. Mine sits pretty comfortable with plenty of room to turn to the inside without bumping my partner, will measure the distance between bases when it quits raining.

How far apart are the seats on your rig? How far apart are the sides of the seats from one to the other? Thanks.CF

From center of the post to post it is 38 inches wide, where the plates are it is 58 from gunnel to gunnel on the inside. Center of the plates are 6 foot back from the nose of the boat. My Millenium seats are 20 inches wide and we have all the room we need. I also use the front seats when pulling cranks and look backwards when fishing, gives us the rest of the boat to work the fish. In the pic you can see how much wider the Mill seat is than the stock BassCat seat, when sitting in the Mill's side by side we have about 18 inches between the 2 seats.

Mine is 38" base to base, and 31" post to post, but I had 60" to work with in the front ...call Terry at Cumberland Crappie and tell him the measurements and he'll build you what you need.

And that is the advantage of a tin boat versers a glass boat, wider front decks most of the time, your seats are way more forward than mine. Very nice Dutch.
