    Default i have a B and M rods question

I bought a 12 ' jig pole about 3 months ago. Yesterday I hooked onto a spot about 3 pounds with a live minner and he gave a good heave ho and the rod broke right at the front of the handle. I had six lb line so I figure the line should have broke before the rod.
So my question is do they have a replacement warranty or am I out 60 bucks twice. 60 for the broken one and 60 for another one. I got direct from B and M. Thanks, superfly.

If you have to buy another rod. Just keep the tip and eyes off the broken one. Use pieces for the new one if needed.

I had an issue with my BnM reels and Jack took care of them. Great Guy and Great Company and they stand behind what they sell! This is why I only have BnM poles and products.

Call BnM & ask to speak to Mr. Jack Wells .... 1-800-647-6363 .... let him know you are a member of Crappie.com, and give him an honest assessment of what/how/why the failure occurred. Mr. Wells has been a member here since 2005, and is a major sponsor of this site & Crappie fishing nationwide.

If for some reason someone breaks a butt section and it is not under warranty, call Grizzly jig co. They have a program where if they sell a replacement tip for your rod they will sell you the butt section for their price of the rod less the price of the tip. In most cases it's about 18.00 cheaper than complete rod.
