Cool Driftmaster Poem Contest - Oct/Nov

Lets have another Driftmaster big prize contest.

and lets make it a Poem Contest.

Your poem must be original, and it must include "Crappie.com" and the term "troll, trolling, spider rigging, long lining or Driftmaster" in it somewhere.

Driftmaster is providing another wonderful prize. I would love one of these for my boat.

that trolling is the only way
    but some are cranking
what in the world are they thinking
    blue,pink , chartreuse and green
so many colors you ever seen
    so when you are trolling
watch out for me i'll be strolling
    CATCH THEM ALL.

October 2007 is when I joined up,
I was new to crappie fishing, I was just a wee pup.
Didn’t know much about how to catch a slab,
I was using brown jigs and colors that were drab,
But on crappie.com I found a pot of gold,
Even found folks that we oh, so bold.
They told me their tricks, their secret hidden spots,
They gave me GPS coordinates of their sunken brush tops.
I learned how to spider rig, and long-line too,
I learned that bright colors were best, like pinks and blues.
I have made great friends, and great fishing pals,
My daughters have taught me that fishing is also for gals,
I learned that crappie fishing is not only a vice,
It’s a way of living and the way to life your life.
No better fella will you ever find,
Than a crappie.com member if you get in a bind.
You can count on us when the chips are down,
We will lift your spirits and erase your frown.
As good as it gets, that’s what I’ve seen,
From all these folks here, and everyone in between.
I thank God for this site, each and every day,
I have made friends and been a friend, I pray.
To return the favor of help that I got in 2007,
Maybe it will put a jewel in my crown in Heaven.

There I sat worried while posting to Crappie.com,
wishing I could be out trolling, spider rigging, or long lining on my farovite lake or pond.
If only my boat was rigged just right,
I know soon all of my crappie lines would all be tight.
So I surfed over to Draftmaster.com,
and the boys at Black River provided enough rod holders to keep me calm.
So now I sit with a smile on my face and many fishing rods across my bow,
wishing all my Crappie.com buddies could just see me now!

Why must I spend my days for results sometimes,
That are too much sugar for dime?
To spider rig or troll is the question at hand,
I know long lining is an approach I can't stand.
With my hummingbird on point, I start spider rigging,
Tangles and mess lead me right back to jigging,
With a limit on board and pics on my phone,
    It'll be Crappie.com when I get home.
You think I like to duck hunt? I love to crappie fish!

    As years pass us By
We should hope, as do the Fry

That we live life by the Day
Not chosing between Work and Play

Deciding between a River , Lake, or Pond
To help me is Crappie. Com

So as I tie up my Jig
Wheather it's Longline or Spidder Rig

    One Fact stays the Same
Driftmaster is ahead of the Game

    As years come and Go
    So do the HoneyHole

    So just remember one Thing
Take a kid fishing and be their King

Crappie.com has a contest to see
who will write the best poem
using some of their words in your entry.

They will look for the best
    and when they see,
    it’s a sweet 6 rod Drift Master
    for you or perhaps me.

I will give it a try, I will do my best.
I cannot fail to win this contest.

Drift Master rod holders are known by all.
If you want great equipment give them a call.
Because Drift Masters the answer for fish large or small.
