    Default Motorguide Question

The cable/harness from my foot controller to the head is short, its about 4 feet long........which won't allow me to secure the foot controller to the deck.
It would need to be about 7 feet long.
I emailed a dealer in the area, but after a week of back and forth emailing he hasn't committed to a price or time.
I am wondering if any of you folks have changed this out yourself, and where to get the parts.
I did a search, but the hits I came up with are vague. Phone calls to various places get "I think this is the right part, but we don't have it in stock"

If I have to put up my $$$ I would need better than "I think"

If anyone has swapped out these cables I would appreciate the feedback

I bought one second hand about 6 months ago, but I have not changed the wiring on mine. I dont know if you talked to these people or not, but it looks like this may be the part you are looking for. and the link for the page.

    I reached several places today
Parts are not available, that would make it work.

I bought a hand controlled one, guess I'll use this one for mixing up large batters to fry crappie in
