Thanks for the report, Greg. Thinking about going this coming weekend and hoping this cold weather will put them on an eating spree. Glad to hear your out fishing.
Fished the grand Wednesday pm and Thursday am..........tough going. Wednesday not too bad..........found a good school on sunken timber out in open water. 18 fow and 10 to 12 ft down caught several........silver sparkle over orange tail was best. Had to be away from any visible timber to catch any fish......garlic spray they hit, nibbles they did not. Thursday went up from bucksaw and fished the visible stuff on the flats........not much to write about, 2 crappie, 1 short and 1 10 inch fish........tough fishing action for sure. Thought I would share what I found.
Good fishing all.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
