    Default Slip bobber rods

How long of a rod do you use. Do you use them for deep fish in say 15 feet

My favorite rig for this style of fishing is an old converted 8' wet fly action fly rod. I converted the blank to a spinning rod back in the 80's. This slow action rod makes hooking light biters easier, in my opinion. Fast action rods tend to take the bait away from those finicky fish before they get hooked.

I like to use a B and M 8' Jim Duckworth Float and Fly rod or a 8' B and M Bucks Ultimate.
