It is great when your plan comes together. Congrats
Got out to the river just before the rain hit, had 2 bass on a T-rigged sluggo, lost one nice pike on a 1/32 oz. maribou jig, but the highlight of my afternoon was nailing a half dozen dandy crappies from 10-11 inches, threw back a couple smaller ones and a couple gills that were only 8 inches.
Caught the crappies on a float n jig presentation, all the larger ones came during the pouring rain.

I hope you get back out again, soon!
still having health issues, tried going out once on my vacation...foot and ankle went totally numb while I was driving, I couldn't even feel the gas pedal or break; so, I went to see the doc right away and spent the last half of my vacation in a hospital instead of fishing....got another blood clot in my leg, but the doc said by not waiting we got on it early this time...I'll somehow find time to try some new jigs I got the other day tomorrow and Thursday for a bit...
