Default Spider rigging question concerning boat stability

I have a 17ft Bass Tracker. I am thinking of mounting two new seat bases on the front deck, and installing two 4 rod Hi Tek rod holders on the front deck. My question is, do you think my front deck is large enough? Has anyone done this on a Bass Tracker before? Any suggestions/opinions would help. If it matters, my boat is an old 89 17ft pro. THanks

I started out in a 16 1/2' Procraft. I made a double seat base , added tite lok holders. It was a little cozy but it worked great. I think you will be OK.

Lots of those boats have been done like that. Hopefully some of the guys who have done it will post some pictures for you.

One if the members on here makes and sells a 2 seat unit that utilizes the one existing base and has 2 seats that are adjustable and easily removable. The beauty of it is you can use it on the front or rear and move to another boat and you don't have to drill more holes for base plates.
I am not connected with them in any way, I just thought it made a lot of sense and looks really well made. Some of you guys help us out with the name or website.

Just take your wife or girlfriend and not your burly neighbor and you will be good to go. Seriously I think you will be good, I have gigged with 2 people on the front in some pretty sorry Jon boats.

x2 on the ezt pole perch. I have a 2011 tracker pro 165 and it works great. You cant beat the price. The only prob I have with it is the powder coating isn't the best. But for the price I can live with that.

I got a 01 Tracker Tournament V18 and I have the hi teks and the Double seat made by Wayne at Dub-L-Seat. Custom made double seats to your boats measurements..no drilling required....extremely well built, comes in different colors to match your boat...check out his web site at Dub-L-Seat.com. May be just what you need guaranteed to be what you want.
YOU CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS...BUT YOU CAN BUY FISHING GEAR.....AND THAT'S KINDA THE SAME THING.....
