Overcast skies, wind comming out
Northeast 7mph building through
morning to around 15 mph by noon

Six (6) teams took to the water weith
the return of Mike Benjamin (The Professor)making first appearance since
heart attack February 23rd after Manatee tournament he hosted.

One (1) postion paid for "Big Fish"

1st: Rick Hartsock / Reen Ware
1 lb. 9.05 oz

Two (2) positions paid for "7 fish
total catch weight"

1st: Mike Benjamin / Tony Jordon
9 lbs. 3.05 oz

2nd: Rick Hartsock / Reen Ware
7 lbs. 9.05 oz.

Benjamin team's big fish weighed in
1 lb. 9.04 oz, one hundred of once
lighter than Hartsock. Benjamin also
set catch record for FCC on this lake
dating back to 2009.

Benjamin team were using push pull
method, 12' jig poles, bobber style
up front, Shakespear micro lite rods
rear. Charlie Brewer sliders, colors
watermelon, june bug & electric chicken
along with gold beetle spins working
8 1/5 -9 ft water.

Hartsock team also working push pull
method 8 - 9ft water using 12 -14'
BnM rods upfront, 8-9' rods in rear bobber
style. Various colored ice jigs, along
with homemade jigs minnow tipped were
hot ticket, working with wind on
controlled drift.

Next tournament will be on Lake Lochloosa, Lochloosa, Fl. public ramp,
off hwy 301, soth of Hawthome,Fl.
October 12th.
