Nightfishing Wylie on weekends

If you plan to nightfish Wylie on the weekend be aware that there is a bass tournament every other Fri AND Sat nite throught the whole summer. They "blast off" from the Ebenezer ramp so alot of them end up in the Allison creeks and they swarm around here in Tega Cay too. That's why I only fish early mornings on the weekends, so I can avoid bouncing around all night from the wakes. When I go to the bait shop tomorrow I'll see if I can get the schedule so we know what weekends they'll be out there.

I think I heard that the bassmaster is this weekend on wylie.

Well I went to the baitshop and got the bass tournament schedule. Since they were out of minnows that's all I got. I misunderstood. It's not every other Fri and Sat nite....it's every week on either Fri OR Sat. Blast off is at 7pm and weigh in is at 2:30am. This weekend it is on Sat nite, next weekend Fri nite etc.
