I can't think of any pan fish lures that won't catch just about anything that eats fish or bugs. Name it and you can catch it on a large variety of soft or hard baits of the right size and action.

Some lures are labeled 'crappie lures', but it seem that anything a crappie will strike will be eaten by any other pan fish and other larger species such as bass and pickerel. Hook size is the usual consideration though I've caught very small pan fish on larger baits with larger hooks.

As with anything involving lure characteristics, lure profile, action and size are at the top of my list, matched to fish aggressiveness in certain areas and at certain times, if they aren't aggressive already. Color is also a factor but IMO certain lure designs only require one or two to catch fish any time.
