Default Thought I pass on this jig organizer idea

Many times I've needed jigs in a certain size (hook and wt.) for a certain size soft plastic and tried different methods of organization. I started with packing foam in a long multi-compartment box, but soon enough the small, medium and large jigs got jumbled.

I happened to find some small boxes for a quarter each and thought, why not cut slits in the foam and rather than hook it from the top down, place each jig hook in the slit. More important, divide and label the jigs with wt. and hook size in three different smaller boxes: 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8.

I already pretty much know which size lure goes with which jigs and this way it will be easy to pull one out without searching through other sizes and keep stocked up.

Knowing approximate jig size that corresponds to soft plastic size is as important and sometimes I forget. So as a reminder I've taken pictures:

Note:smaller jig hooks will work with longer soft plastics.

I do not use but a few sizes and thankfully my eyesight is still good enough to distinguish and I can tell one from the other. This is a good idea for those who have any issues needing to have a for sure way to get what they need.
