    Default Tons of Rig Diagrams

I found this page that has every conceivable rig drawing and diagram on it. Thought I would share it.

Lots of useful info. I always chuckle when I hear "drop shot" or see it in an article. We fished that rig 40-50 years ago on Lake Erie for perch but didn't have a fancy name for it. We called it the "perch rig". Should have named it after myself, I may have become famous! LOL
Keep them poles bent and the boat right side up! LOL

Thanks so much, Ship. I'm really lovin' this drop shot rig for the big bluegills in a deep lake. There is no better way to catch a lot of big 'gills IMHO!

I fished it for Perch and also Walleye out by the power plant on Lake Erie for years...like 1960 through 2000 when I moved south. It had no name then but it fished deep.

We used it for cat fishing back in the day.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty, well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "WOW what a ride".
