Cedar creek should be good about 12ft deep in the trees especially in the back the bluff by the cut-thru should be good and the trees in the bluff right across from the campground shouldn't be too bad...
My post and fishing have been few and far between this year. In fact I have only been able to wet a line once since May and that was at a little farm pond. Anyhow, the family and I are finally going to be able to get away this upcoming weekend with some friends to do some camping and fishing. We are going to be staying in the cabins at Bucksaw if any of you are around and want to stop in.
I see that there is a mixed bag of reports coming in some good some slow. Does anything seem to be working better than the other around that area? My buddies boat isn't all that reliable so we probably won't get much farther than Cedar Creek or the cut thru at the fartheist. Any info would be helpful for us. Thought I might try some riggin but since it's been so long since we have been out we are just lost on where we should even begin.
Thanks for any help in advance.

from what I hear good advice from shiner, I have also heard the bite is pretty good up otter creek, early, and U highway bridge area afternoon time. good luck, have fun, be safe, and eat well.......
Don't waste your time at Tebo. Stay in the Bucksaw area dipping trees with jigs tipped with minnows. It tough so just keep at it and you'll catch them.
Haven't been in a couple weeks but don't be afraid to try shallow on the main lake flatts or in the creeks! Stay on the move! Good luck!
Thats a long time without wetting a line, good luck to ya.
Thanks for all the advice fellas. I'm sure we will have a pretty good time out there no matter how it turns out. I hope to have a good report and some pictures to post for you all when we return.

Good luck on your trip and may the fishes be with you.
Move. Hold it dead still. Hit the bottom, come up slow. Move. Minners.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
If the crappie don't work try and find some shad and drif the channels .
