    Got to the Lake at about 10 or so,Rain comming down, I sit in the truck counting the seconds between thunder, getting longer each clap, lightning not to bad, but I'll wait.

    10:30 headed out First brush pile,zero
    Second brush pile zero
    third brush pile woo hoo, caught the heck out of crappie, sitting in 8 ft of water fishing a fallen tree and it was loaded with fish, been a long time since I caught crappie on Stockton in 8 ft of water, cast out real slow bring it back to the boat, some would hit right at the boat, take it under the boat, all the fish had bunch of mud on there bellies. it were fun as all get out.

    root beer/chartruse, green head,1/16 oz jig slabbuster jig. rain off and on, sun once in awhile, Damn I was having fun let er rain I said, had the ole rain suit, so i was sweating but mostly dryName:  012.jpg

    Way to go Beagle. Sounds like a fun day on the water. About time to meet up at Truman a catch a few in the creeks.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Nice trip for sure. I would say you were one of dang few if any that pulled limits today. It came a heck of little storm and was not very inviting. Well done!
