Sad day tomorrow. Going to fish in the morning and then take the boat & dock out in the afternoon. Momma says its time to go to Florida. She gets 6 months in Fl. & I get 6 months in Maine. She may be right,it was 28 degrees when I went this morning. Just wanted to thank all the forum members for all the good information I have picked up here.

Think I'd rather be in Maine. I'm looking forward to the non-allergy season. Have a safe trip. - Roberta

Dang, I have some allergy stuff too, but man you can have the North in the winter, Just too cold for me anymore. Now in the summer, I would like the North then because it too darn hot down here then.

    Default Florida

I am going to take my puter & fishing tackle. I also am going to take my trolling motor & fishfinder. The boat I bought last winter had two fishfinders and they were both junk. The trolling motor was a five speed & none of the five ever seemed to be right. I also have some heavy logging chain so I can drift fish in the wind. Picked that idea up here on the forum. Not leaving until Sunday, have to close up the house & put the boat away. Thanks for the well wishes. Sorry Jim but the fresh blueberry season is over.

    Hey Maine:

Have a good trip and give us a shout when you get your 'puter set up down in sunny Florida.

    Default Ice fishing

A young mans sport unless you have a shack on the ice. That auger gets heavier every year and the joints get stiffer. Almost got my 2lber the last day I fished. Shook my digital scale half a dozen times, could only 1lb 15oz without pulling on his tail.
