Please, DON'T ask !! Let me just say this : it was a bone of contention that HB owners had for the HB unit's boat/directional icon, that turned into a O shape when the GPS system read a speed of less than 0.??mph. Owners could not determine the direction of their boat's forward motion, as it related to the map chart on the unit's screen.

I do believe that HB has corrected that anomaly (albeit on recent units, and possibly on update programs) ... but, not being a HB owner, I cannot confirm that.

Suffice it to say that it generated a lot of lively discussions, and heated debates. AND they will not be tolerated on this board, or this thread.

Yes they did fix this with a puck antenna that has a compass inside it. It come with an arrow pointing forward so it knows which way the boat is pointing even when sitting still. So that is not an issue any longer, but now I do know what it's about, but I always knew that, but looking at that picture nothing on it made me understand to connect the 2, LOL!

Since I Have a HB and that new puck I can confirm that is fixed!
