Hit the river at 6:30am, dawn breaking.
Air temp = 45 degrees, water temp = 65 degrees.
Wind was forcast at 5-10 mph, it had to be at the 10 mph for sure,
fairly good chop.
I had thought that the crappie were going to really turn on the bite with
this cold snap, but, similar to last Sun, far and few between.
Lost three (get em right up to the boat, reach for the net, they throw the hook).
Lost several on out away from the boat.
Threw two back (two small)
Kept six (that's a good mess).
