    Default My daughter's first bass

My daughter caught her first bass while fishing off the rocks on Catawba river with live threadfin shad - she caught a nice 2-lb channel right before this, but no picture.

Yes, those Spotted Bass can give some serious pullage for their size, along with some acrobatics that will excite the kid in a person of any age !!

Now, just as a "reminder" ... where's her PFD ??

You guys are right, the smile says it all.
It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.
