    Default more with the 898

Up early this morning to check some spots we fish in the winter to see what was holding them in that spot. Corp drops the water hard in the winter and these are my go to places. Now I see why!

Found the fish hugging the 15 fow drop today. Could see the school and shadows on SI, went back over in this screen and dropped a B-marker. (they would move out chasing the bait but we could hook into one or two before then) Seemed all the other locations we went to showed the same thing.

Found this spot and thought we could pull some slabs in but instead hooked into a green carp. Have some pix of the crappie and (green carp) I'll add to the post later tonight...it's on my cell phone.

This was fun but does not compare to a mess off crappie, white beans and cole slaw

Are those things just not amazing??? I have a 898 as well....I know it doesn't catch fish for you, but it sure does put you on them.

Looks like you have yours dialed in pretty good.

Fished locations I've never thought of in the 18 years I've hit this lake. Going in the morning to another lake close by, be interesting to see what I've been missing over there as well.
