Default The Fall Bite is starting?

I was nailin' the crappie pretty good today. I fished a local lake in my float tube with my UL spin rod.

I fished at twilight until dark, and the fish seemed to be holding at the "weed edge" in about 15' of water. The water temp dropped down to 76 with this wonderful fall like weather here in PA.

My best producer was a 1/32 oz black jig head with a Gulp Alive 2 1/2" Black Shad.

I caught about 25, and kept 4 to take home to fillet.

    Tight Lines,

This crazy, wacky, weather? Two weeks ago, we were dying from the heat and humidity, but now it's just like a early fall!

The last five years or so, the weather has been "crazy" up here in PA.

If you get an opportunity to get up to lake erie to do some fishing, take it. The perch and walleye bite is outstanding this year. Pm me if you need info.

That sucks, when I see you guys up North say what your water temps are I get jealous of that this time of year because I can't wait for the fall bite to start, but our water temps are running probably 90 or higher. I have not been in a few weeks so can't say I know for sure, but it's still hot as all get out here.

congrats on that nice catch though! Whish I could Join in on some catching, but we really need some cooler weather here!
