Default rnvinc in action-----wrong species but who's keeping score

rnvinc and I got on KY Lake before the lake lice could infest the place this morning. We were doing some fine tuning on my electronics and Rickie was wanting to see what all the fuss was about trolling Bandits. We did well on both counts.

His 1st fish of the day

Then we got down to business. Didn't catch any big crappie like the 16+ incher we caught Saturday but ended up with 15 good, solid keepers for a couple of hours on the water.

No idea. I had it figured between 5 and 6 pounds. Had a bass fisherwoman say she thought it would go almost 8 from the picture. Rickie said it felt like pulling in a bucket full of rocks at 1.7mph. It did jump a couple of times. We released it as soon as we could get the hooks out of its face.

Them Bandits are fun, even though they didn't turn a fish for me yesterday. Weird day. Good job guys, nice green one.

Trolling spinners today a little south of y'all today at the pump house netted us several of those green fish today, also. The largest was just over 4lbs, but we only landed one keeper crappie. Could you give a beginner a lesson? And, give a little water depth and structure info on your trip.

That fish is definitely over 5lbs. Probably closer to 8

We were pulling 200 and 300 Bandits in dark colors and some I had custom painted. We worked very close to the channel breaks and points in 12-20 feet of water. The baits were running 75-125 feet behind the boat.
