    Default In a slump....

I guess it happens this time a year, however they've been REAL rough on me the last few times out. Went out again today, left disappointed. They aren't shallow they are not deep seems they just aren't there....my confidence is fading, I'm reading everything I can get my hands on, trying different methods this that and the other thing.....I'm sure everybody's been there at one point or another, hat in hand I'm asking for any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance ;-)

One thing I might add is I do not have the assistance of any electronics besides the cheapie that came on my boat, I pretty much use it for depth and water temp...hopefully ill upgrade my electronics sometime here in the near future and this will help.

Electronics will help, but it happens to all of us a certain times, no matter how great or poor of a fisherman we "think" we are. When the bite isn't as hot as I'd like, I don't have any problem switching things up. I haven't crappie fished in almost a month now, I've been wading creeks with great success, and doing a little night bowfishing with pretty good results. How you are fishing and your water temps could have a lot to do with your success as well.

Doesn't really matter about things you read. You just have to fish ways that are most comfortable to you and go with it. Its been a tough year with all the weather changes.

Been an up and down year for me ALL year long...last year I was smokin', and this year I'm barely smoldering...hang in there, there's always another day.
