Dental floss unwaxed. Oops missed the color pref.
I'm wanting/needing to tie some bobber stop knots (instead of buying them) and not sure which line to use. I have read Dacron line but I see braided line and fly fishing backing line...can someone post a link to what they use. I would like orange or chartruse line if possible..
Thanks,
Mike

I use dental floss also, but I've only seen it in white and black(yes black, I got a spool of it from my dentist???)

I use Dacron catch it on sale at Wally Stores or local bait shop, I've always found it in Chartreuse- easy to work with & see............................................... ....

I tie a 20lb test or 17lb test fluorocarbon uni-knot around the main line and slide it up or down. Usually four winds is enough before clipping both ends no shorter than 1/8 inch.
I use fly line backing....comes in several bright colors
