Made it out fishing again!

Friday Chris and I went to Beaver Lake and tried our hand for some Crappie. We didn't do to bad and came home with one limit of Crappie and a few bluegills and one Cat. The Crappie were just average size and nothing to really brag about. We caught most of the Crappie around the Marina and caught a few in other area's. The Crappie came in 14 ft of water and close to the bottom. We would pitch the minnow out and let it fall to the bottom and then bring it in slowly. EB

Is Beaver lake private or public? I passed it on the way to Nebraska City to get my new boat!

It is a private lake and you have to own a lot to be able to fish it! EB

We hit Wanahoo today, caught close to 2 dozen crappie. It was a slow start though.
