If I had not already drove up to Maine on vacation and remember how far that was, I would think real hard after looking at that fish. Especially since we just came back from fishing and our best crappie was 10 inches. Must be nice to have slabs like that in good numbers at your beckon.

I'm just about 5 hours away. In fact, I went by your general area just last weekend when we took my Dad home to Maine for his memorial service for his remaining family that no longer travels. Laid him to rest yesterday here in CT with military honors and its now time to get back on the water; haven't been out since my last post in July. I'm thinking hard about taking you up on that offer. Gotta clear it with the powers that be here, meaning work and the wife, LOL!
