Once you catch BIG crappie out of a brush pile, how long does it take to catch BIG fish again? Thanks for any info.

Fishing is a little different where I am. I spend most of my time fishing open water and standing timber rather than brush piles. If I catch a couple in one particular spot and it slows, I will move off and then come back a little while later. There have been times when I was fishing a laydown or pile that I would nonstop pull one after another out without a break in the action.
